Year in School:
What made you decide to become a cheerleader?
My gymnastics coach encouraged me to take a look at competitive cheerleading. I was only five years old, but I knew immediately after my first practice that the performance aspect of the sport as well as the "team" atmosphere was something I definitely wanted to be a part of!
What do you like most about cheerleading?
Cheerleading, like any other team sport, is about individuals with different backgrounds, talent and skill levels, coming together as one in pursuit of a common goal. In both competitive and sideline cheerleading, individual success is dependent on the success of the group and their ability to work together. There is no better preparation for life than to be involved in a team sport or organization. I enjoy the performance aspect of cheerleading the most, and having the ability to create excitement in a crowd and put smiles on individual faces.
What goals have you set for yourself in cheerleading?
Cheerleading has brought me a platform which I intend on using to make a positive impact both inside and outside of the cheer world.

How did you feel when you received these honors/awards:
Being born and raised in the Dallas area, participating at NCA was definitely the highlight of every season for me. The rush you feel of being the home-town team and having the crowd behind you is incomparable to anything. Equally, the pressure and responsibility you feel to make your crowd proud is REAL! Winning NCA, all three times, was one of the most rewarding and fulfilling honors I've experienced yet.
Winning Worlds is a BIG DEAL! For Worlds teams, this competition culminates every season so each team is at the very top of their game. The best of the best are brought together one last time to compete for the ultimate title of WORLD CHAMPION. To win it is surreal. To join the select few who can claim the title of World Champion is the ultimate privilege.
