Desoto Middle Takes Home First Title Of The Day: UCA Dixie

Five small but competitive junior high teams took the mat at the 2019 UCA Dixie Championship in the Small Junior High division! They kicked off the competition at 9:00 AM this morning and were named the first champions of the day. 

Desoto Central Middle School hit the floor with a strong routine, placing first out of the five. Live Oak Junior High came in second, with Pearl Junior High in third! Take a look at the top three teams who took on the Small Junior High division!

 1. Desoto Central Middle School

Desoto Central Middle School kicked off their routine with solid standing and running tumbling. The team had the crowd on their feet during their "We Are Desoto!" cheer. The Jaguars ended their routine with a nicely executed and clean pyramid!

2. Live Oak Junior High

Live Oak Junior High had a super strong start with four lib full around tick-tocks, ending the stunt with a full corckscrew to the ground. The Eagles put some incredibly difficult skills on the mat and made them look easy!

3. Pearl Junior High

Pearl Junior High opened up their routine with the cheer as they got the crowd to yell back "Let's Go Pirates!" The Pirates showcased unique stunts and fun pyramids that was worthy of bronze.
