43 Teams Took Home Nearly 16,000 Points at ASC King of the Jungle 2023

There was a rumble in the jungle! Thirteen programs battled for nearly 16,000 points to The League by Varsity All Star at the 2023 ASC King of the Jungle Minneapolis. Forty-three teams had the opportunity to win up to 400 points for first, 372 for second, 344 for third, and 316 for fourth.

Teams will compete all season long for their shot at cash and prizes within their division regionally and nationally. Regionally, The League by Varsity All Star will consider the top 6 points values from any competition in the season. Nationally, The League by Varsity All Star will add each team’s point values to determine the winners. In both cases, collecting points early on could be beneficial at the end of the season!

On top of winning first place and 400 points, seven teams scored above 97 at ASC King of the Jungle. Northern Elite Fury, Northern Elite Riptide, The Stingray All Stars Firebolt, Northern Elite Fierce, Northern Elite Smoke, Northern Elite Envy, and Fusion Athletics Green Bay Aces are all starting the 2023-2024 season on a high note.

Northern Elite took home an impressive 3,516 points in total, with seven first-place finishes. TNT Cheer took home 1,944 points, with three out of five teams placing first and receiving 400 points. The League by Varsity All Star

The League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?” 

Every team who competes at a Varsity All Star Event this season will be included in The League. Team rankings are determined by the Points System displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team completes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value. 

At the end of the season, your top 5 Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank. In total, 120 winners will be recognized from 1st – 3rd place across each region. One champion will be crowned in each of the 5 regions across the 8 eligible divisions, meaning 40 champions will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
