NDA Buddy Instructor

Your team is paired with an NDA Staffer! You'll work one-on-one with your Buddy during Custom Coaching and Team Time.

Team Time

Team building activities built on social and emotional learning that strengthen team bonds and build individual character.

Custom Coaching

Work one-on-one with NDA Instructor to clean Team Dance.

All-American Auditions

NDA Staff nominate dancers who exhibit the qualities of Leadership, Showmanship, Spirit, and Technique. Nominees will audition with Team Dance as they know it.

Funner Day!

Because every day is fun, we dress up on Funner Day at camp! Plan a team dress up theme to go with the NDA Summer Camp theme.

Professional Development Material

Coaches Training that includes Game Day Tips and Professional Development (self led).

NDA Dance Party!

Music, games, and dancing the night before Final Day — let loose and have fun!

Warm Up, Cool Down & Improv Session

Daily Warm Up includes strength and conditioning exercises. Cool Down includes static stretches and practices to properly recuperate muscles after dance sessions. Improv Sessions allow dancers to release with freestyle movement after a long day of dancing.

Specialty Technique

Daily technique classes allow dancers to focus on one area of dance technique to improve where they need it most. Customize your camp experience by requesting the technique you want your dancers to work on prior to camp! Class choices include Turns, Leaps & Jumps, Kick Technique, Pom Technique, Hip Hop Technique, Lifts & Partnering, Flexibility and Dance Fundamentals.

Technique Levels Available

Perfect the basics and challenge your team to learn new skills. A class for every level! Beginner through Advanced level technique available at every camp. Elite-level technique available at all camps — except Standard Home Camps.

Elite Team Dance

Pom, Jazz, Kick, and Hip Hop in one routine! Every team chooses a Team Dance to learn on Day 1. Elite Team Dance is fast-paced with Elite-level technical skills sprinkled throughout.

Intermediate/Advanced Team Dance

Pom, Jazz, Kick, and Hip Hop in one routine! Every team chooses a Team Dance to learn on Day 1. Have a wide range of ability levels on your team? Int/Adv Team Dance will fit best!

Beginning/Intermediate Team Dance

Pom, Jazz, Kick, and Hip Hop in one routine! Every team chooses a Team Dance to learn on Day 1. Beg/Int Team Dance is perfect for teams needing a slower pace with few technical skills.

Routine Levels Available

Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Elite classes offered at all camps (no Elite classes at Standard Home Camps). Pom, Jazz, Hip Hop, Kick, Lyrical & Contemporary, Drill & Game day routines — something for everyone!

Style Routines

The amount of style routines taught at NDA Summer camp varies depending on the amount of days and instructors. For each full day of camp, each instructor can teach 2 routines per day (Team Dance counts as 2 Style routines). Preview and request routines prior to camp on nda.varsity.com!

Style Routine Review Sessions

NDA Staff will make sure dancers feel confident in every routine!

Band Chant Routines

Visual routines designed for popular band songs — great Game Day and Sideline option! Choreography is also adaptable to popular radio music!

Sidelines, Stand Routines & Game Day Stingers

Short, visual, fun routines designed for those quick game day moments needing a stationary routine.

Team Leader Routine: Optional

Mini Team Dance designed for Team Leaders; however, any dancer may attend. Includes Pom, Jazz, Hip Hop, and an original choreography incorporation.

Team Dance Final Day Evaluation

Teams are evaluated on the Team Dance they've perfected throughout camp. Opportunity to qualify for Nationals.

Style Routine Evaluations: Individuals

Dancers get valuable one-on-one feedback from NDA Staff. All participating dancers will earn an outstanding, excellent or superior ribbon based on the NDA Standard of Excellence!

Home Routine Evaluation: Optional

Perform any routine perfected at home for an evaluation by NDA Staff. Opportunity to qualify for Nationals.

Leadership Workshop (1 hour/day): Add-on Option

Select your whole team or just your leaders to attend these Leadership Classes.

Team Technique Workshop (1-2 hours): Add-on Option

Additional technique training specific to your team's needs.
