Fall Team Bonding Ideas

By Vikira Pigford

Competition season is right around the corner, which means your practice schedule has become more demanding. At this point, it is totally normal to feel a little anxious, overwhelmed, and exhausted. Here is a list of team bonding activities that you can do to take a little break and rejuvenate.

  • The fall season (and its beautiful colors) is a good time to explore the outdoors and take some great photos. Visit your local orchard to go apple picking, pumpkin picking, take on a corn maze, or go on a hayride.
  • Game night. Get together with your teammates and find a series of games you all enjoy. See who is the most competitive while taking your mind off of dance for a night.
  • Plan a team dinner at your favorite restaurant. Let your hair down and get dressed up to enjoy a fun night gathered around food together.
  • Attend an athletic event you are not required to cheer at. Experience, for once, what it’s like to be on the other side. This could be a college or pro game.
  • The holiday season is in full swing. Start planning your Halloween events, Thanksgiving potluck, and Christmas party.
  • Plan a trip to an amusement park. Everyone enjoys a good thrill, playing arcade-style games, and eating some sweet treats.
