November marks the start of the new CHEERSPORT season, which will include two dozen events across the United States.

Among the season’s first competitions will be the 2024 CHEERSPORT Oaks Classic, set to be held Nov. 23 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

CHEERSPORT got its start in 1993, created by All Star coaches who loved competitive cheerleading and thought their experience could help create an environment that was a level above the rest.

What To Know About The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center

The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center is celebrated as one of the largest venues on the East Coast, boasting more than 240,000 square feet of exhibition space and over five acres of paved outdoor space.

The facility also features five exhibit halls and seven meeting rooms, so there can be flexibility and privacy, allowing for a variety of events and shows (more than 140 each year) – trade shows, concerts, town hall meetings, church events, sporting events, dog shows and more, including the 2024 CHEERSPORT Oaks Classic.

The outdoor area of the property – the Fairgrounds at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center – welcomes everything from sporting events and concerts to fundraisers, movies, carnivals and circuses.

The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star

The Varsity Cheer League by Varsity All Star is the official ranking system for the sport of All Star cheerleading, changing the conversation from “Who won the weekend?” to “Who ranks at the top this season?”

Every team that competes at a Varsity All Star event this season will be included in The Varsity Cheer League.

Team rankings are determined by the points system displayed here. At each Varsity All Star event your team competes, your team will earn points based on the assigned event and placement point value.

At the end of the season, your six best Varsity All Star event scores will be used to calculate your final rank.

In total, 128 winners will be recognized from first to third place across each region.

One champion will be crowned in each of the five regions across the eight eligible divisions and two League 6 conferences, meaning 42 championships will be awarded in total. Champions will win cash and prizes!
