The Varsity Pinnacle Award is proud to recognize athletes who go above and beyond to inspire teamwork within their programs, display dedication every day, exude confidence and lead by example in their communities. Check out the newest recipients of our award and how they show they are #AllStarStrong.

Alexis Wise – CHEESPORT Nationals – Atlanta, GA

Alexis Wise, from GymTyme Diamonds, is a true gem in her community, dedicating time to her teammates and to various charities throughout her area. She is a regular volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House and a Peer Mentor in her middle school. She has also started two social impact initiatives in her community! Her “Turn the Page” initiative collects children’s books for local libraries, schools, and hospitals, and she recently spearheaded a fashion show where proceeds went towards anti-bullying campaigns.

“She has proven herself to be one of the most creative and hardworking young ladies that I have encountered. Her tremendous strength of character, integrity, and dedication embody the type of person we’re all looking for in a volunteer.” – Dede Cox

Chelsea Proven – JAMfest Dance Super Nationals – Louisville, KY

Chelsea Provan with Starz Dance Academy is the epitome of everything it means to be #AllStarStrong. Chelsea battled with spinal and brain cancer, but kept on dancing right through it, never missing a single competition. More than 30 rounds of chemotherapy took away her hair, but never her drive, determination or dedication as she stuck with her Junior Starz dance team. After winning her battle, she has dedicated her time to fundraising for the Make A Wish foundation and helps other children through their battles with childhood cancer.

“It’s an honor to award Chelsea for her dedication and determination through her times of struggle. She is truly an inspiration to those around her and her spirit is contagious.” – Tina Sexton, JAMfest Events

Noah Cooney – Mid Atlantic Championships – Wildwood, NJ

Noah Cooney is a remarkable young man who started his all star journey on a recreation team and quickly fell in love with the sport. Transitioning to Elite Allstars, he found his home and others quickly began to take notice of his hard work and dedication. It isn’t always easy being a male in the cheerleading world, but Noah always keeps his chin up and works hard to spread positivity to other males and his teammates. He is a role model to younger athletes and gives 100% at practices and competitions while also cheering in High School and being an ambassador to his community.

“Noah is an amazing inspiration to all his gym mates. He always gives 100 percent of himself to all aspects of his cheer life. He supports his team mates, and is like a big brother to all the younger cheerleaders!” – Lynn George, Parent at Elite Allstars
