USA Dance Nationals began in 1986.  The event takes place in Anaheim, CA and draws teams from throughout the western United States. Nearly 2,000 competitors and nearly 4,000 spectators are expected over this fun-filled and exciting weekend, vying for the Champion title in one of over 50 different divisions.  It is the premier event of its type in the western U.S. for the variety of styles that take the floor and the caliber of performances that are presented.  It will be held March 20-21, 2020 in Anaheim, California.

At USA Dance Nationals, there are divisions to meet the needs of every dance program including; Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Pom, Character, Prop, Solo, Kick, Novelty & more. If a team competes in a qualifying division, they must attend a USA Dance Regional, Classic or Open (Learn more about USA competition events in our dance brochure by clicking HERE) prior to Nationals for qualification in the Championship or Open division.  If a team does not have a regional in their area, they may submit a video for qualification. Non-qualifying divisions do not require pre-qualification in order to compete at USA Dance Nationals.
