#VarsityLondon Day 5: New Years Eve Fun!

“3…2…1… Happy New Year!”

London has become home for these All-Americans! We have explored every café, shopping center and historical landmark and have met lifelong friends along the way. Today, All-Americans had the entire day to go adventure around the city with their Varsity Escort or parents and finished the evening ringing in 2020 with a dance party celebration! Here are some of the highlights from the day:

Sky Gardens

Groups had their heads in the clouds as they visited the highest public garden in London and enjoyed spectacular views across the capital. With the 360-degree view of the city, the sights were definitely Instagram-able!

Bicycling Around Green Park

The weather in London has been so beautiful that we could not miss a chance to get outside and take a bike ride around the park! Green Park got its name when Queen Catherine ordered all flowers to be removed from the area in 1746 and none have been planted since. Nonetheless, it was a stunning afternoon for All-Americans to be out and about!

New Years Eve Party

Participants got dressed to the nines to celebrate the coming of the New Year! After helping each other get ready for the night and taking all the photos, these guys and gals danced the night away to their favorite songs. We even saw some UCA and NCA routines on the dance floor that they learned this summer at camp!

Tomorrow, All-Americans will be up bright and early to celebrate New Years Day by parading down the streets of London. We can’t wait to share all of the incredible moments that tomorrow will bring.
