Watch Out World, The Kentucky Wildcats Cheerleading Team Is On Fire!

We found a sneak peak of the University of Kentucky cheerleaders performing their routine for the upcoming 2017 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship at their home stage of Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY, this past Saturday. The Kentucky Wildcats have won the UCA’s College Cheerleading National Championship an unprecedented 21 times, and with this routine, their chances of bringing home #22 are looking hopeful!

The Wildcats open their routine with one-to-ones and then drop down and immediately purdue up to handskis. They keep the difficulty up throughout the performance for a very impressive two-and-a-half minutes. 

The routine maintains a sense of tradition by including a spell-out of Kentucky’s well-known C-A-T-S cheer. But the Wildcats spice it up a bit with rewinds to A-frames to keep the excitement going into the second half.
