The 2022 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship has arrived and it’s time for the Division I teams to take the mat.

The teams competing in All Girl Division I perform some of the toughest routines and most elite skills showcased at the championship and today college cheerleading fans all around the country are tuning in to watch.

This weekend, sixteen talented teams will be battling it out for the All Girl Division I Championship title including powerhouse programs like West Georgia, Morehead State, Eastern Kentucky, Sacred Heart, and the Blue Hens of Delaware.

After falling short to Sacred Heart University in 2020, the University of West Georgia took back the coveted All Girl DI title last year with one of the most impressive routines to ever be competed at the championship.

West Georgia packed their 2021 routine with stunt and pyramid difficulty, competing 5 extended hand-in-hands, ariel one and a half ups, and back handspring double-ups.

Last year’s competition was legendary as both West Georgia and Morehead State University were tied for first place coming out of Semi-Finals. Both programs are known for their routine difficulty but here at the championship, it’s all about who can hit under pressure.

Will West Georgia start a new winning streak this weekend or will another contender take over the top spot in All Girl Division I? Either way, know the competition is going to be EPIC.

The competition on the Coed side of Division I is just as competitive. This year five incredible programs will be competing for the UCA College National Championship title: Morehead State University, the University of West Georgia, Northwestern State University, Pittsburg State University, and the University of Delaware.

The reigning champions of the division are the Wolves from the University of West Georgia. West Georiga was sitting in second place behind Morehead State last year after Semi-Finals but they continued to push in Finals to move up the ranks and take the championship title.
