Varsity Spirit has produced thousands of competitive events for cheerleaders and dancers. Varsity Spirit competitions, whether at the state, regional, or national level, are held to the highest standards.

Universal Cheerleaders Association

Founded in 1974 by Jeff Webb with the goal of incorporating high level athleticism with traditional crowd leadership.
Today it is the largest cheerleading camp company in the world. UCA trains over 180,000 cheerleaders every summer at over 3,200 sessions across the country, offering the widest array of dates and locations of any camp company.
UCA founded and funded the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Administrators and created the AACCA Safety Manual, the standard of care in the industry.
UCA is credited with choreographing the first routine to music and inventing fundamental cheerleading skills, including the liberty, elevator, and basket toss.
Cheerleaders who attend these camps may earn the opportunity to perform at the London New Year’s Day Parade, the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, the Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the Disney Thanksgiving Day Parade.

National Cheerleaders Association

Founded in 1948 by Lawrence “Herkie” Herkimer, whose vision was to create an atmosphere where cheerleaders could learn all aspects of cheerleading to support their athletic teams and become ambassadors in their schools and communities.
Today camps are available at hundreds of locations nationwide. Offering many different types to choose from – NCA’s got you covered.
Credited with developing many “firsts” the first cheerleader camp, spirit stick, pompon, Herkie jump, uniform manufacturing company, among others.
Cheerleaders who attend these camps may earn the opportunity to attend Special Events in location such as Disney World and London, England!

Founded in 1950 by Robert Olmstead, the United Spirit Association has been an industry leader, setting trends and giving you the most innovative material, while providing the highest quality of technical training in a safe, professional & fun environment. Our programs include Spirit (Cheer, Song/Pom, Pep Flag & Mascot), Dance (Dance Teams, Drill Teams, Hip Hop Teams) and Band (Drum Majors & Band Leadership).

UDA began in 1980 as Universal Dance Camps and was founded by Jeff Webb and Kris Shepherd.
UDA is the largest dance camp company in the world, training over 40,000 dancers each summer. With the widest choice of summer camp dates and locations, UDA offers over 760 camp sessions across the country. UDA can also come to schools to provide private camps, technique camps, and choreography camps.
UDA’s mission is to provide quality educational training for dancers throughout the year with camps, clinics and competitions. UDA focuses on the highest standards in the industry — the finest UDA Staff, the most personal attention, the best choreographers and the most exciting, innovative routines!
Dancers who attend these camps may earn the opportunity to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Rome and London New Year’s Day Parade, the Capital One Bowl, the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parades, and the Disney Thanksgiving Day Parade.
