Generation Spirit (formerly the Sparkle Effect) is a national nonprofit that creates, outfits, trains and sustains school-based spirit teams that bring together students with and without disabilities. Generation Spirit empowers students to create school spirit teams that bring together peers with and without disabilities. These teams change school culture for the better, igniting a spirit of inclusion that lasts for years to come.
In 2010, Varsity Spirit partnered with Generation Spirit as the official provider of team apparel grants. In 2015, Varsity Spirit also became the sponsor of Generation Spirit’s on-site training program.
