Program Highlights
The Northwest Dance is proud to be the 2024 Open Hip Hop National Champions at UDA College Nationals. We are located just outside of the city of Memphis in Senatobia, MS. We offer full tuition scholarships, and are a fully funded program. We are fortunate enough to have our own practice facility equipped with marley flooring and mirrors. Northwest fosters a family like atmosphere while also providing a high caliber competitive experience.

Yes- Scholarships are available to anyone in our program but we do offer higher scholarship amounts to our competitive dancers.

Yes- All team members receive a scholarship upon making the team if all eligibility requirements are met. The exact amount varies each year and is based upon the program’s overall scholarship budget and the number of members. The longer you are on the team or hold a leadership role, the potentially higher scholarship you receive. In previous years, scholarship has ranged from $500 to $1,000+ per semester.

The MSJ Dance Team is the face of the University under athletics and promotes MSJ Spirit at many athletic events such as Home Football Games, Men’s/Women’s Basketball Games, and Women’s Volleyball. The team appears at many other On and Off-Campus Events such as parades, pep rallies, etc. The team has full access to many student athletic resources that MSJ has to offer as a D3 which includes, Strength & Conditioning Coaching, Athletic Trainer, Tutoring Services within the Academic Institution.

Yes- We have the Creative Arts Scholarship. This scholarship is offered to any out of state student that makes the ETSU Dance Team. It waives out-of-state tuition and the dance team member will only pay in-state tuition. For the first year ONLY, the dancer must live on campus and purchase a meal plan. The ETDT dances on the sideline and performs on the field at all home football games. They also cheer on the sideline and perform at halftime for all home Men’s basketball games. The ETDT participates in numerous community service events throughout the year. The average GPA for the fall semester of 2023 was a 3.5. The ETDT has competed at UDA nationals for the past10 years, with our highest placement being 3rd in Division-1 Pom in 2021.

The Michigan State Dance Team supports various MSU teams at events including football, volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball. We also attend student events on campus to encourage school spirit and Spartan Pride. Our team is under MSU athletics meaning we get the support of our athletics department resources such as strength and conditioning, athletic training, facilities and more. Competitively, we attend UDA College Nationals and compete in the D1A division with jazz and pom.

The UC Dance team prides itself on being a well-rounded team of highly skills dancers who form a family like bond. Yes- Every single dancer on our team receives scholarships every year. We receive $250 from the band per semester and $1,000 from the university per semester. That’s $2,500 per dancer per year for those who qualify for in state tuition or for the TIP program. If you do not qualify as either of those categories you would qualify as in state with being on our team.

Michigan Dance Team members are provided with invaluable experiences as student-athletes at the University of Michigan, as we are a fully funded program under Michigan Athletics. MDT promotes the spirit of the university through its performances at a variety of campus events, including football and basketball games. Our team also competes at UDA’s College Dance Team Nationals in the D1A Jazz and Hip Hop categories, where we have secured top 5 and top 8 finishes for the past two years.

Yes- We are fortunate to offer each of our team members with a 4-year scholarship. The amount of scholarship will be discussed throughout the recruiting process. We are an NCAA DII school in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC). We are within the athletic department. Our program started competing for the 1st time in program history at UDA College Nationals in 2022. By 2023, we were able to move up to the top half of our division, making it to finals and coming home with 10th place. We have sense been diligently working to continue to build our program. We also get to dance on the sidelines and perform at halftime of all home football & basketball games.

Memphis Pom and the new Ambush Crew has 26-40 members. Ambush Crew consists of dancers who specialize in hip-hop but also perform as a hype crew at football and basketball games.
We won the D1A game day division this year, making the 16th national title for our program. We offer priority registration and full-time Athletic Trainer.

Yes- We are fully funded by athletics and all recruited team members receive a scholarship. Scholarships are given based on skill level and or academic need. Unfortunately, student athletes at Loyola are not allowed to combine Loyola academic scholarships with their cheer scholarships. We also have a team trainer and strength and conditioning coach.
Yes- We compete within the NAIA where our one routine consists of jazz, pom, and hip hop. We are currently looking at starting to compete at other competitions for the 2025-2026 season.
