USA Camp Types

USA Dance Camp focuses on custom choreography in a variety of dance styles and levels. From hip hop, jazz, and pom to lyrical, contemporary and musical theater, USA has routines perfect for all your team needs and performance opportunities during your season! Routines offered are useful and appropriate for halftime performances, rallies, spring concerts, school productions and special events. Technique training, specialty classes, master classes, leadership training, and team building activities are offered to enhance personal and team training opportunities while building a strong foundation within your team. Camp is all about team growth and unity, and it’s the perfect place to kick off your new season!

Camp Types: Dance Team, Dance Elite, Dance Plus, Jr. High Dance, 2 and 3 Day Home Camps, Dance Officer’s Leadership Camps. All-American opportunities offered.

USA Dance Elite & Dance Plus camp focus on custom choreography in a variety of dance styles and levels. Routines are taught at a quick pace and appropriate for your dance team season. Choreography offered is best for halftime performances, rallies, spring concerts, school productions and special events. Technique training, specialty classes, master classes, leadership training, and team building activities are offered to enhance personal and team development while building a strong foundation within your team. Camp is all about team growth and unity, and it’s the perfect place to kick off your new season!

Camp Types: Dance Team, Dance Elite, Dance Plus, Jr. High Dance, 2 and 3 Day Home Camps, Dance Officer’s Leadership Camps. All-American opportunities offered.

Showtime Dance Camps offer pom, jazz, and hip hop routines in a variety of levels perfect for school rallies, halftime performances and special events! Quarter break and sideline routines are also offered to prepare your team for Game Day. Team and individual technique training, specialty classes, master classes, leadership training, and team building activities are offered to enhance personal and team development while creating a strong foundation for your team. This camp type is considered a hybrid of our Song/Pom and Dance program, focusing on training and curriculum needed for your entire season. Curriculum is centered around performance opportunities provided to dance and song team at their school, and USA places an emphasis on the importance of performance quality and ready to go routines! There is a competition element to this camp type with the Friday Nights Competition and Showstopper Dancer. Showtime Dance Camp is all about team growth and unity, and enhancing your overall team’s performance quality! It’s the perfect place to kick off your new season! Showtime Dance Camps are combo camps with Showtime Cheer located in a hotel setting.

Camp Type: Showtime Dance. All-American opportunities offered.

Song/Pom camp curriculum focuses on choreography that unifies all spirit raising teams on the sideline. Focus is on Game Day, coordinating movement on the sidelines with the cheerleaders to display a cohesive spirit program. Halftime, rally, quarter break, and sideline routines are offered in pom, hip hop, and jazz styles in a variety of levels. Technique training, specialty classes, leadership training, and team building are offered to round out your camp curriculum to provide a solid foundation for your team’s new season.

Camp Types: Song/Pom Premier, Song/Pom Elite, Song/Pom Your Way. All-American opportunities offered.

USA Dance Officers/Leadership Camp provides leadership and technical training to develop your team’s leaders. The focus of the camp is on building effective team leadership skills. In addition, officers receive extensive training on composition and choreography, using the latest techniques found in the best collegiate dance departments.

Home Camps are a great option for teams wanting to receive more one on one experience with our USA staff. These camps take place at your team’s own location and we can customize the schedule for exactly what you want and need! Dancers learn material in varying levels and styles as well as have technique classes. Teams can bond through team building activities and unity games. Plus, individuals will have the opportunity to qualify for All-American. Teams can choose from a 2 or 3 day home camp with USA Dance or Song Staff.

USA Jr. High Dance Camps focus on all-level choreography perfect for Jr. High dancers! Technique training, specialty classes and team building activities provide and support the curriculum appropriate for a dance team’s season!

Prepare to dive-in to in-depth curriculum which serves to enhance performance skills and leadership capability. USA's Drum Major camps are designed to make students' performance ready by focusing on relevant, practical, and competitive skills for regional circuits and school performances. Overnight camp experiences offer curriculum for parade competitions, field show competitions, and band leadership. Students can also expect to learn how to participate in Peacocks American Competitions by engaging competition staff who also duel as USA certified instructors!

• Practical and relevant band leadership curriculum sponsored by the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS)
• Personalized instruction with 12:1 teaching ratios
• Certified instructional staff who're credentialed and partnered with organizations such as Peacocks American Competitions • Adjudicators, the Northern California Band Association, and the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association
• Evaluations which provide students performance feedback and tips/advice on improving performance abilities

Are you ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? USA’s Band Leadership program is designed for all students who are seeking to learn new skills, or improve current skills, in order to further support personal growth or that of their band and communities.

• USA’s Band Leadership Program is relevant, practical, and designed to support the Band Director
• Students have the opportunity to work in small and large focus groups in order to promote collaboration, inclusivity, and team building
• Specialty focus sessions on Team Building, Goal Setting, and Rehearsal Strategies
• Private leadership coaching opportunities that allow students to focus on topics of personal interest of those specifically related to their bands

USA Private Instruction will allow students, parents, and directors to schedule private 1:1 sessions for their Drum Major(s) and band leadership students where a trained, certified USA Instructional Staff member travels to you for a day filled with curriculum specific to your students needs and preferences:

USA Private Instruction is capable of developing specific curriculum involving leadership, conducting, and/or parade and can be tailored to your students individual needs

The USA Instructional Staff consists of leadership professionals, university professors, award-winning industry coaches/instructors, and certified adjudicators.
